Jan 168h breakfast, ham, chorizo, swiss on brioche, topped with a fried egg.. parfait!
12h carrefour... just over the hills.. pick up supplies for tonight. guacamole total expenses are about 15euro (6 avocados, 2 tomatoes, 2 habaneros, 2 limes, 2 lemons, 3 bags chips). with 15 euro i could have easily bought about 8 bottles of wine.. only in france.
13h leftover spicy pesto pasta while reading anthony's blog... and laughing out loud
15h watch casino royal en francais, bien sur!
17h make a big batch of guacamole for the party!
19h off to chez beret (lisa, julia and jenny's new place). it's cute, it's roomy, the kitchen is fabulous... but apparently noise is NOT allowed. not saturday night, not sunday afternoon, not ever in fact
20h an older lady knocks on chez beret and asks us to turn down the music... keep in mind on every floor there is only one apt... so maybe the floors are thin? anyway, when we tried to apologize she made it clear that it's not us it's the building... she's not complaining that she has work at 5am, in fact she just walked up a flight of stairs to tell us the building has thin walls... very thoughtful of her. 20h30 turned off ke$ha and instead watched the princess bride, stephanie's new favorite movie
22h30 decide to plan parties for weekdays between 15h and 18h (while people work) or sundays between 8h and 12h ) while people are at church... either way we will find the perfect time to have a ke$ha dance party at chez beret
