Bistro Venitian and Michiko

8h30-12h we are obligated to go to class again, even though it is the warmest day yet
12h eat left over mac
12h30-17h instead getting the sleep that my body needs, i walk around place jaude, up to the cathedrale, then sit in complete sunny sunshine in place de la victoire reading "the blue sweater" and eating a piece of rum cake. what a great day
17h30 go home and get ready for dinner with chantal
19h have one of the best dinners that i've had so far with chantal, anthony and parker.. pasta, pasta, pasta, pizza.. and lots of great french convo.. oh and wine










20h30 we all head over to anthony's apt to have some coffee and/or more wine
21h chantal goes home
22h anthony, parker and i go to get the party started at buddha
23h-2h party party party.. the theme.. brazil.. more dancing.. green and yellow face paint, music, and boas..






2h after much debate all our french friends convince to take the shuttle to some club called michiko instead of just parting at club five.. cool
2h15 michiko is pretty fun.. salsa, merenge, top 40, rap, atl hip hop, french rap, 1950's american theme music.. like nick-at-night kinda stuff followed by techno
4h30 walk home with all the usc/ku students

Classy Dinner with KU Kids

8h30-12h school never ends
12h steph and i left for carrefour to get everything ready for the american table at the international fest... comment dit-on.. we bit off more than we could chew
13h30 make it back to my place... eat some bread and cheese
13h40 begin cooking
13h50-15h30 make two giant pots of mac and cheese and about 60 min burgers




15h30 steph goes home to change, i stay home and change
16h30 noah meets me at my house to help me carry all the goodies to school
17h set up booth at school.. we are super early.. awesome
17h30-18h30 fair is awesome.. mexico had the best food by far.. best mole i've ever had in my life.. it was 100% awesome awesomeness. there was also dancing.. brazilian martial arts dancing and mexican line dancing... that sounded suspiciously like country line dancin' in nashville.. felt right at home











18h45 leave on the ominous bus for a nice dinner with KU students, david marker and friends
19h30 no one throws up this time!.. we arrive, late, to a chateau on top of large hill, this is the fancy resto (paradis) where we are about to dine... sweetness





20h-00h eat, chat, make new friends.. for example sat next to the manager of the clermont rugby team, very cool guy.. and of course all the boys around me were in sports heaven! enjoyed a five course meal with aperitif, kir and more.. thanks to jared for making it ok for me to take pics of my food in such a classy place
00h30 get back to the school... tintin walks me home







Spring Break Dance Beer Pong Party

12h lunch.. so so pasta
13h30-16h45 culture and civ.. discuss french cooking and eating.. life is so good
17h go to buy supplies for international week with julia.. too bad stores close so early!
19h eat dinner at the best creperie in town.. le menhir with jenny and julia
20h walk to buddha to make sure the "spring break" theme party would be cool on a tuesday night.. in 30 degree weather.. um yes it is
20h30 went home, changed and walked back to buddha for spring break, break dance, beer pong night!!
21h-00h dance dance dance dance to lots 'o american music.. sweet! criss cross will make ya jump jump! and so we did.. watched a pretty talented group of break dancers do their thing on the not so clean bar floor.. had some of the best drinks ever... alcoholic  smooties/milkshakes... sweet! made new friends.. tried to teach french boys how to properly play beer pong.. not a success.. but by the time people got drunk and the kansas students joined in...everyone seemed to be having a pretty good time! whtever... i dont care i was downstairs dancing.. woop woop
