Feb 25-27 Bordeaux- wine tastings, latin club, museums, and the quais

Feb 28-Mar 1 Salamanca- visit the spanish trackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i dunno go to a museum?

Mar 1- Stay at some beach town near Sevilla- BEACH

Mar 2- Stay in some other small town near Sevilla- flamenco festival, 2 shows and dance lessons maybe

Mar 3- Sevilla- city sites, and a day horseback riding

Mar 4- home

20h30 debate whether or not to go to the biggest business school party of the year the YES party... pregame is at 3 monkeys.. which is conveniently around the corner.. and our apt owner owns it! but this whole take a 20min bus to some giant club, without knowing exactly wht time you can get back.... and with class at 8h30 tomorrow... YES is not looking likely

Le Mock Interview

8h30 mock interviews! parker, anthony and i each took turns being interviewed by a panel of 3 (the 2 other students, plus our prof) for a post that we are interested in. parker who had just had coffee for the first time in his life, jumped up to be first in this frightening simulation. he interviewed for a position at a french law firm, i interviewed for l'oreal and anthony interviewed for a consulting company. wht i learned: trying to ask intelligent, grammatically correct questions in french is a bit harder than trying to answer them.
12h in the end, we each "won" an internship with the each respective company... yay!
12h-13h30 stay at school, eat pasta leftovers and edit presentation
13h30-16h45 give presentation on the administrative system in the US, then louise gives a presentation on scotland
17h-20h30 edit french resume, write french cover letter, finish friday's hw
21h diner... made  dish that has no name... but it was tasty all the same

15h15 we stop in place de jaude and eat crepes and drink hot chocolate by the fountains

16h jazz is closed... of course
16h15 find a little bar in front of the tram stop... lise and i had hot wine and cheny thought she ordered a cocktail... but she just ordered a shot of whisky.. wow

17h-19h do a lil homework
19h julia comes over so lise can help her with her resume
22h lise, julia and i eat leftover beef tacos, quacamole and chips for dinner.. so yum

9h-12h i prepare for my revue de press and do some other homework
12h make salmon and steamed broccoli for lunch... figured out how to make a crust on the salmon so it starts off crunchy then gets smooth as you cut thru.. success!
12h30 save the other piece of salmon and the rest of the steamed veggies for tomorrow's lunch

13h-16h45 medias.. i actually knew what going on in french news for the first time in my life.. awesomeness.. i did well on making up titles for the new events and my presentation went very well as well.. super awesomeness

12h30 made a new kind of pasta.... bowtie pasta, cooked and coated in butter, for the sauce: steamed broccoli al dente, sauted musrooms, boiled, chopped and sauted sweet potatoes, cream, butter, and spices

13h no internet.. go to school library
13h30-18h use library's internet... work on presentation, balance checkbook and budget for the month of february, begin finalizing bordeaux plans
18h internet back on... so i go home... spend 2 hrs on bordeaux
21h diner, leftover raclette: boiled potatoes, chunks of turkey, covered in raclette cheese, toped with sour creme and pepers, which a salade on the side
21h30 meet up with everyone at buddha... the candy party! eat... candy! and cotton candy and candied shots, etc

15h30 overwhelmed by all the choices in geant.. oh wait its just like a small wally-world... having some serious reverse culture shock

18h leave geant with all the ingredients for raclette.. and then some.. fresh salmon.. oh la la.. for later in the week of course
19h15 ophelie and mariane show up for dinner...

20h the raclettathon commences... it is a serious french sport... boiled potato smashed on plate, cheese on raclette stove thingy, pour liquid cheese on potato, add salami, ham, perchuto, etc, replace raclette stove thingy with another cheese slice... melt and eat. repeat. repeat. repeat.

21h15 finish with some super awesome ice cream cake log thingamadoodle.. so good
21h30.. mariane and ophelie leave to ice skate
21h40 personally.. too full to ice skate, too tired to go to the party with richard, and its too early to go to the salsa club

22h watch the ugly truth on netflix.. lisa and jenny leave for the mexican party
1h decide that bus to club to salsa to taxi to jaude to 15min walk back home isnt worth it..

12h lunch at indian restaurant.. buffet for everyone but julia.. because she is deathly allergic to nuts... to which the restaurant owner replied.. u can just push them aside.. no no.. i said.. deathly allergic.. to which he replied.. whts wrong with people nowadays.. allergic to everything... he must lead a dull life if a nut food allergy is rockin his world..
13h30 take lise on a petit tour of clermont-ferrand.. cathedrale to jaude to jardin lecoq to home..
14h tasted expensive basalmic vinegars at some fancy-shmancy store near cathedrale
14h30 bought some perfume from l'occident... so yummy.. flowers and fruit.. yes these are a few of my favorite things.. made friends with virginie.. lady at the store who worked with clinique in new york for four years.. fun times
