11am ash comes over to lise's place to help me take my luggage to train station
11:45am arrive at train station
1:27pm anthony arrives at train station
1:45pm I accidentally drop my train ticket which lands right below the train
1:55pm train employee uses a broken umbrella to reach for my ticket
1:58pm train leaves for clermont-ferrand with me successfully on it!

5:30pm arrive in clermont and continue to drag over 100lbs of luggage up and down concrete stairs.. Riddiculous! I will never pack like this again
6pm welcome committee "picks us up" aka walks our luggage to their apt which is about 10-15 min away
6:20pm meet the whole welcome committee and catch up with some of our american friends
7:30pm eat kebabs for dinner
8:30pm go bak to apt to get luggage and walk down 3 flights of stairs and over 20 blocks with all that luggage
9ish pm me anthony and a guy from the welcome wagon reach 47 cours sablon
9:10pm we enter.. The mansion! This place is huggggge. Vincent, the landlords son takes us thru the drawing room, up the red velvet stairs around the restaurant out the door, thru the yard, around the gate, into another door, past 10 motorcycles, up the stairs, into our apt (pic coming soon)
10pm meet landlords whole family and discuss the living arragements
12am sleeeeeep
