12h get up, book hotel in lyon, pack
12h30 leftover rice topped with ragu topped with fried egg
14h get bank card and checkbook from the bank! Finalement!
15h eat last of leftovers: avocado and lettuce on whole wheat toast with spicy mustard and that balsalmic dressing from earlier
17h55 train to lyon!
22h30 one and only one restaurant is open near our hotel.. Rouge Tendence... and it turns out to be a jackpot!! first of all it's huge.. especially for France... about the size of cheesecake factory. and when you walk in there is a giant "bar" of flames... basically you go to the buffet and pick out a bowl of fresh veggies a la carte then bring them to the fire bar where these chefs make a superb wok concoction! if you decided that you are too starving to wait in the wok line, there's the "menu du monde" with dishes from over 20 countries. i chose the tagine.. from morocco. julia chose the fajitas.. from mexico and lisa chose teriyaki chicken... from china. jenny and cheny did the wok... with free refills and a wok dessert... aka a bowl of chocolate!!
