13h-15h pack, get ready for a grand adventure
15h30 print directions, reservations, maps, names, numbers

16h meet cheny outside her classroom and go go go! c'est parti!
16h29-17h37 train arrives late to moulins
17h44 barely make train to st. pierre... in wrong car
18h10 try to get off train to get in right car.. give up.. apparently cars, seats and numbers only matter sometimes.. no biggie
20h03 arrive at st. pierre
20h44 leave for BORDEAUX!

23h try to follow walking directions to hotel.. go out wrong exit, hit construction, go back another way... nope.. give up.. get in cab.. get ripped off because turns out our hotel is 3 min away by foot... so our cab driver charged us 10euro for bothering him... whtever.. get a life...we'r on vacation!

23h30 best receptionist ever at stars hotel.. he was french, but spoke spanish and a lil english.. so we had a trilingue convo about sights and events in the city. and when room 204 smelled like a cigarette factory.. he gladly gave us 205! service with a smile :)

9h30 go into wine store.. buy ashley a gift.. realize that they do wine tastings!! yes please!! fun fact: bordeaux is not just for red wine, but white, rose and clairet which is btw red and rose.. coolness
11h30 head to Bar a Vin for another wine tasting... we should have probably bought some bread in between.. anyway.. had the sweetest wine of all time... was like syrup.. yum. since we are the only crazy ppl getting... cultured.. at 11h30 in the morning.. we get special attention from our server who also speaks french, english and spanish.. so our convo turns into a photo shoot.. cool

12h30 lunch to sop up the alcohol.. croque madames and salades

13h30 rue st catherine and shopping.. zara. camieau. calzadonia. and more
15h30 go up st michel basilica... no not in an elevator.. yes these little bitty stairs will take us up and other people down at the same time.. kinda like a living puzzle.. 230 stairs later... amazing view

16h30 pics at st andre cathedrale

17h run into our server from bar a vin
17h05 stop by tourism office to make sure we can go to the vineyard and make our train

17h10 and the sun arrives! welcome! this must mean we should go to the fair and ride the ferris wheel! which is super not safe.. lets just leave it at that... nice view
18h return to bar a vin for 2 glasses of clairet and a cheese and bread plate
19h30 try to eat at restaurant de loups.. unsuccessful..

20h stick with original plan.. chez les ploucs... super fun and tasty.. until server accidentally knocked over a candle on cheny.. fortunately the speed at which it fell blew out the flame... just left a lot of wax on her jacket
